Workshop on Anticipation, Agency and Complexity

Research on, and the application of, Anticipation is rapidly growing, with many initiatives under development.
Two forthcoming significant events are the 2nd International Conference on Anticipation (ICAN2) in London, November 2017, and the Workshop on Anticipation, Agency and Complexity in Trento, April 2017.
ICAN2 follows the path of ICAN1 and is the main event for developing our understanding, theorising and inter-disciplinary knowledge of Anticipation.
Whatever your interest in and grasp of anticipation, you are invited to contribute to ICAN2.
The Trento Workshop is specifically focused on the interplay between institutions and policy.
It addresses the problematic issue that systems of governance and bureaucracy are designed or evolving without taking account of either complexity or anticipation.
