Another session for Anticipation Conference 2015: Sociologies of the future
Sociology has taken time (and the future) into consideration since its early years, notably in the work of such authors as Weber, Simmel, Schutz, and Mead.
However, the future has not been a significant field of inquiry in mainstream sociology despite the emergence of a sociology of the future over the 60s.
An invitation to discussion and debate about arrived from italian conveners: Carmen Leccardi (University of Milano Bicocca), Giuliana Mandich (University of Cagliari), Vincenza Pellegrino (University of Parma).
With 17 proposed thematic sessions and more than 300 abstracts arrived, the conference is still growing!
